Ed Steckley is an award winning illustrator and caricaturist who work ranges from children’s books to advertising and magazine illustration.
Hailing from Racine, WI and currently in New York City, Ed’s made a name for himself in the advertising world and parlayed that into a career as multifaceted commercial illustrator.

In 2017, the award winning children’s book Rube Goldberg’s Simple Normal Humdrum School Day (Abrams Kids) was released, introducing a whole new generation to the concept of the Rube Goldberg machine and what these silly contraptions are capable of. Currently he’s working on a new series of chapter books in the Rube Goldberg cartoon world.

Other clients include Mad magazine, Spinmaster Toys and enough advertising agencies to make your head spin.

In addition to numerous caricature awards, he’s been the recipient of two divisional awards from the National Cartoonists Society, the top honors for work in the field.
