Founder and Director of The Lakes International Comic Arts Festival in the UK, Julie brings her expertise and experience to bear as Co-Director of NCSFest!
Julie has been developing and running arts events in the UK for almost 30 years. Between 2008-2012 she ran a major outdoor arts festival programme across the whole of Cumbria in the UK as part of the London Olympics. In 2013 she founded the Lakes International Comic Art Festiva, which is the only one of its kind in the UK. It takes place annually in October in the beautiful Lake District and has received a number of nominations and awards for its work. Julie has also won a number of awards for her work and has recently taken up stand-up comedy, the ukelele and knitting (but not all at the same time).
