A professional cartoonist from the age of 21, Kevin celebrates 40 years of 'Drabble' this year!
Kevin Fagan was born in Los Angeles and raised in Inglewood and Orange County. His cartooning career began at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. He signed a syndicate contract at age 21 and ‘Drabble’ made its newspaper debut on March 5, 1979. It has run every day since them, over 16,600 strips! 2019 marks Drabble’s 40th anniversary.
Ralph Drabble, Norman Drabble, Wally the Wiener Dog, and the entire Drabble gang appear every day in the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Los Angeles Daily News, Long Beach Press-Telegram, and the papers of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. There have been 12 Drabble books published, most recently “Family Calamities” and “All Wally.”
